The Union College Republicans seek to promote and foster Republican values on the Union campus as well as aiding the election of Republicans at the local, state, and national level

Since launching in January 2008, the Union College Republicans have established themselves as one of the most proactive clubs on campus. We have organized successful events such as a debate on illegal immigration with the College Democrats, Social Security Bake Sale, and Global Cooling Day. We are also actively engaged grassroots politics - both locally and nationally.

The Union Sentinel

The Union College Republicans recently launched our monthly conservative newspaper publication, The Union Sentinel. The Sentinel helps to ensure academic freedom on campus as well promote political discussion and participation. College Republicans to Continue to Campaign for Local Candidates

On Saturday, September 13, the Union College Republicans are heading back to Sandy Treadwell's campaign headquarters to help out the campaign. This follows last May's successful volunteer day for the campaign. Treadwell is running in the hotly contested 20th Congressional District and, with our help, he has a great shot at defeating Kirsten Gillibrand in November! Fall Fundraiser Hosted by the Union CRs

On September 23rd, New York State Assembly Minority Leader Jim Tedisco will be the keynote speaker at a fundraiser hosted by the NYCRSC. We are expecting elected officials from around the state to attend as well as CRs and CR alums! It should be a very succesful event.
